I had a couple that had been watching my Horse Farms page for a couple of years and finally decided to make the move to the area. Rick and I met to look at a farm on the southeast side of Greenville and hit it off immediately. After a few more trips out and quite a bit of analysis he decided on a beautiful place in Inman. Now this horse farm had been on the market for a while and originally was listed at close to $500,000. The seller reduced it and we bought it under sales price. I felt like it was worth at least $30,000 more than Rick bought at and darn if the appraisal didn’t prove me right.
I won’t say the place didn’t need a little bit of work. Knowing my buyers though, I knew it wouldn’t be long before this turned into a true diamond. So recently they had my wife and I out and WOW, what a wonderful job they have done. I’d say they immediately added tens of thousands of value to the property.
